Our president is free after been kidnapped for 10 hours by the police. Today we had a pretty interesting day, there was some vandalism because of the lack of police but we were safe at all times in our house.
The most incredible part was an incredible journalist that was wounded but brave enough to stay there and film all the military rescue operation. It was pretty unbelievable, Jeff and I had sweaty hands while watching the rescue. Better than any action movie PLUS this was real.
Earlier, Jeff spying from our balcony his first Ecuadorian Coup de etat, the city had fires all over so we could see a smoke cloud plus Jeff with his eagle eyes was able to see all the militaries protecting the antennas on the top of the Pichincha volcano, where the police were trying to take control of the communication media.
We are fine, just pretty exhausted after all these events!
